He was placed in intensive care and then an induced coma, but tragically he died on November 16 - just two months from his 55th birthday. The field service engineer begged nurses for the jab as he fought for his life but it was too late, his last words to wife Emma were: 'I have never felt so ill, I wish I'd had the vaccine.'
