What is herd immunity?

By definition, herd immunity means that there is enough people vaccinated
that unvaccinated people are also protected against an infectious disease.

So if "herd immunity is reached", vaccination would not benefit individuals any more.

US has 50+% received at least one shot of vaccine. ~30% naturally infected. Even if there are some overlaps between the two numbers, there should be
already 65-70% immune to covid.

Conclusion: there is no need for an individual to take a vaccine at this
point in US.
