I am a GOP leaner, I want to ban guns, but I don't want to defund the police . The police are a lot more effective, in general, than your own guns against crimes. You might have a hundred guns at home, but are you carrying them everywhere you go?
I guess if eventually one day we need to go to people's homes to confiscate their guns, the president needs to declare a state of emergency so that the national guards can go in and do the work for the police. Police cannot handle that task.

I plan to use my gun at home if there is a home invasion. Good enough
reason to have a gun.
And when we fight back, we got to make sure not to kill them because they
