Does it mean all B-2 visa holders can't enter the US? The recent announcement mentioned H/L/J visa, but did not mention B-2 visa. Do you happen to have any reference regarding B visa?
It seems there are some confusion regarding the Trump visa freeze. From what I read, the only affected categories are H/J/L visas, which may potentially affect the work force in the US.

This means you can still apply for other US visa categories in 2020, including B-1 visas, which are meant for those visiting the US for business purposes; B-2 visas, which are meant for tourists; and F-1 visas, which are meant for students. Per Nair, you can still apply for O-1, E-3, and E-2 visas."
So visa application for B-2 is not affected at all. That means people should be able to apply for B-2 visas, and B-2 visa holders should be eligible to visit the US.
Anyone has personal experiences recently? Thanks a bunch!
