Our son, a well mannered young boy at the age of 15, is looking for a local host family located in the school district of Williamsville, East High
School for this coming 2021 fall semester and beyond. The boy is a U.S.
citizen, born in Chicago, not long after he was taken back to China with us due to my job relocation and he has been living and studying in China since then.
We sincerely believe this hosting experience can be a highly rewarding
opportunity for your family as well. Apart from the suitable financial
arrangement, the precious chance to discover a different perspective and to share American culture with a teenager is a daily spark in cultural
understanding.
A few quick facts about the kid:
1. Ethnic: Chinese American;
2. Language: Chinese - fluent; English - basic, enough to serve daily
communication;
3. Hobbies: badminton, basketball, skiing, reading, piano, painting.
We are looking for a host family who could offer Comfort, Communication and Care, which include:
1. Food & lodging;
2. Occasional transportation (shopping, doctor visit, extracurricular
activities);
3. If the family has their own kids in house, that is a plus. A wonderful
opportunity for kids to experience and appreciate diversity, understand the world from different part of the globe, and meanwhile make a positive impact on each other’s long-term growth.
Guardianship transfer may not be required for the host family. My niece, i.e., the boy's elder cousin, a faculty member of SUNY Buffalo, also lives in
East Amherst area and she would love to take the guardianship and offer
assistance during the course of host.
If interested, please drop me a voice message at (315) 496-1858, or send
email to [email protected] to further discuss the details, including
financial terms. Looking forward to hearing from you, thanks!
