1. search I485 diy. A lot of resources especially in mitbbs. 2. make sure use the newest forms. Download them from the government site. 3. make sure all the files in checklist are included. 4. understand what they are asking in the form. A lot of answers can be searched. 5. it is not a difficult task but you need to be very careful. Anyway, it is better you doing it than the lawyer.

我属于EB3，就一个人申请绿卡。
我的priority date 是July 2018年，可能很快就要提交I485了，我之前一直都是用的
公司的律师做Perm，140.
不过，现在考虑是不是可以DIY I485的申请，
难度大吗？大家都参考什么网站上的资料啊?

雇主就提供了一个J表，我发了一封邮件给HR，半个小时之后她就发给我了。
很简单的，都是最基本的信息，主要就是你的工作内容，性质，薪水，和雇主的基本信息，然后她签字给你就行了。
别的不需要雇主提供任何文件。
我的雇主直接让我自己弄485，她们负责弄perm 和 140, perm 和 140 + PP 的钱她们
全部出。
485她们不管，她们觉得很简单，自己可以弄好，她们也不出钱搞485.

我跟我们公司HR 谈了，他们说任何这方面的档案都要经过公司的移民律师，到时候产
生的所有费用都要我出。
当时，我申请140的所有钱也是我自己掏腰包的...
显然你的雇主非常友好。
现在真的是很犹豫。。。

看你的情况485应该是比较简单的一类，DIY没有很大问题。只要你能说服HR在J表上填
公司信息并且签字。
