You now hold U.S. refugee or asylee status, and are applying for a Refugee Travel Document (see Part 2. Application Type, Item Number 1.b. of Form I-131); or 2. You are applying for an Advance Parole Document to allow you to return to the United States after temporary foreign travel (see Part 2. Application Type, Item Number 1.d. of Form I-131). Under these circumstances, you may file Form I-131 together with your Form I-485, or you may submit Form I-131 at a later date. If you file Form I-131 separately, you must also submit a copy of your Form I-797, Notice of Action, receipt as evidence that you filed and paid the fee for Form I-485 required on or after July 30, 2007.
You don't need to pay $575 fee for the I-131 petition as long as you meet the criteria in I-131 instruction: * You filed a Form I-485 with a fee on/after July 30, 2007; and * Your Form I-485 is still pending.
But it has been reported that USCIS rejected I-131 applications based on a pending 485 in mistake due to no payment. So try to renew your I-131 as early as possible.

我和LD的EAD combo卡今年9月到期（我们是EB2,排期16年中，今年current几乎是没啥
希望了），所以现在需要renew EAD卡。我们找了律师，他说EAD卡renew现在只能file I765,也就是工作许可的部分，但是Advanced Parole现在没办法renew，因为他最近经
手的case，凡是需要renew Advanced Parole的都会被USCIS RFE，要求提供急事必须离开美国的证据，律师说可能是因为最近疫情和travel ban的影响，并且他还说如果要
renew Advanced Parole还要另外交575的申请费，而工作许可renew不需要交钱。
律师接着说如果以后真的需要出境，可以拿着紧急需要的证明去USCIS的local office
办理AP，当然得是在目前的travel ban解除之后。
我们一听都晕了，之前看本版的信息，都是combo card renew 相对比较容易的说法，
怎么现在这么多规矩？大家帮我参谋参谋，这个律师说的靠谱吗？
最近I131 启用的新版本表格，对应的instruction有明确提到。 律师靠谱。
请问是什么时候开始实施的呢，我在板上看到的所有申请renew的都说combo renew不需要另外付钱啊

不过律师都建议了，估计还是make sense的。问题是，我也在申请renew，但是我的律
师倒完全没提这个。在琢磨，我要不要主动跟他们提放弃AP？
嗯，我觉得如果你不是一定要离开美国，可以不用申请AP
可是我必须得出国一趟，纠结呀。。

右上角 expire date 4/30/2022. 左下角 4/24/19.

renew combo完全不需要找律师

今年有些485 Pending申请AP被USCIS因没交费退件的，I-131网页上也写了485 Pending要交$575申请费，但去年出的I-131 Instruction里还是说不交费。
如果时间来得及，可以先试试不交费申请AP，如果被退件就再重交一次。

我刚刚自己办理了renew，I-131和I-765，收到了两份receipt，没交钱。这个combo
card renew自己办就好了，找律师纯属浪费钱。
