waiver材料办理今年H1B申请。想请教下我的情况是否只能J1 waiver以及现在waiver是否来得及申请H1B。
1. 签证背景：
15-16年我通过国内学校资助的短期访学项目在美国待了一年半，申请过两次J1签
证，一次半年（15年2月-8月），一次一年（15年10月到16年8月），都受两年限制。看网上搜索结果是按后一个起算。18年我申请了F1签证，从18年9月-19年12月硕士项目。20年2月即将入职，并通过公司申请今年的H1B。
2. J1项目结束后的出入境时间
16年8月23日：出境
18年8月11日：入境
19年1月7日：出境
19年1月18日：入境
之后一直待在美国。按出入境时间来说，离两年差1天。之前提交材料的时候，因
为自己的疏忽以为满2年了就没有申请waiver。并且，17、18年我也有去别的国家。这
样，在中国没有待满2年。
因为我F1签证是1年期，现在回国就得重新申请F1。并且即将入职，再考虑到新冠
肺炎影响，回国待满两年似乎也不现实。
3. H1B申请时间线
公司是让Fragomen代办的H1B。给的时间表要求，3月1日前提交材料，3月20日前公司会提交Cap registration。看之前帖子的时间线，申请J1 waiver都需要几个月。也
看到有J1 waiver，H1B同时办的。想请教下如何跟公司沟通呢，是直接把情况都跟他们说，请他们同意同时办；还是我应该找移民律师跟他们讨论呢？

陈述了自己的情况，询问他们的意见，还没有收到回复。另外，今天我自己开始申请J1-waiver。新的问题是，我第一张DS2019表找不到了，只有一张照片，不如扫描件那么
清晰。原件只有更新过时间的DS2019表，与第一张SEVIS ID一样。似乎waiver的时候只需要复印件，没有用到原件的时候？那以后申请H1B会有问题么？

但是j1 waive还是越早办越好

你这种情况，大概率是来不及了。你的当务之急是考虑备选方案：今年如果没有H1b，
是否可行。
然后，在你能保证继续在美国待下去（至少半年）的前提下，你可以开始办理J-1
waiver。第一步是向中国大使馆申请。如果你能找到内部的熟人帮忙，这一步可能被加速。这步完成了才谈得上是否同时申请。事实上，现在H1b基本都要抽签，这里面的变
数太多了。

同事3-4年前的经历，办h1b不需要j1 wavie,难道规则改了？但是豁免肯定早办越好

改成CP 不要AOS的， 到需要签证的时候有Waiver 就行了。
