Just got email saying "Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production". This is for wife's green card. Mine is approved in April.

When visa is available this month, I did a service request online for "why it take longer than the processing time" on Oct.05. The request was assigned to an officer for response on Oct.13. Today the case is approved.
So I think the SR online did work. For myself, I did the same in March, and got approved in April.
