My 8 year salary progression:
🔹2014: Best Buy - electronics sales @ $12 an hour. Super broke, super despressed, super lost in life.
🔹2015: American Express - Sr. Product Manager @ $116k yr. This was my very first 6 figure salary and my very first corporate job (to land this role I took out student loans to complete an MBA and a 6 month software development bootcamp).
🔹2017: Amazon - Manager of Product @ $275k yr. Amazon poached me out of the blue and I have no idea why they paid me this much money for doing essentially the same thing I was doing at AMEX.
🔹2019: Amazon salary exploded to $400k a year due to stock growth. I lived super simple, didn’t have a car, rode my bicycle to work, and saved like crazy.
🔹2019: Turned down a principal product manager role @ $400k per year at a small startup in Seattle because I thought that Amazon provided better long-run brand equity. This company’s stock tripled within a year and because of that my annual comp would have been over $600k if I took the role - Whoops.
🔹2021: Left corporate to start Freedom Fund, a real estate investment fund that helps others drastically accelerate financial freedom - projected 2022 earnings based on current trajectory: $millions.

有MBA,挣40万算是少的了
12刀那个应该是上学时的part time job
"有MBA,挣40万算是少的了"
如果大部分这样,大家早抢破头去读mba了
【 在 ghnc (ghnc) 的大作中提到: 】
