大家好，背景是我在公司上班, 我老婆在美国大学J1 签证做博后。我最近开始跟公司
申请EB1B, 想着140批准后和老婆一起file 485。
现在就需要开始进行老婆的J1 waiver了，提交了向中国大使馆申请不持异议信。豁免
理由是需要和我一起申请绿卡, 附带了我的公司开具的申请EB1B的证明信以及我们两个的结婚证。
但大使馆给的反馈是 “缺材料:缺少申请豁免的相应支持文件，如申请人为申请转换
身份由相关单位出具的关于申请人的支持证明，而非关于其配偶的证明。请补充。”
我们公司说不能给我老婆开信，因为她不是公司员工。如果说找她学校开信，感觉和学校没关系，很可能学校也不能开。
请问这种情况该找谁开“支持证明”？
因为豁免了以后J1就不能延期了，所以大使馆希望得到你老婆单位支持她转成H1b或别
的合法身份的证明。你老婆不能请实验室老板帮忙写一个支持J1豁免后申H1b的信吗？
只要让你老婆老板出支持信就好了。我和我老婆豁免 都是因为办H1B然后豁免成功的。办H1B的流程是先豁免然后办H1B。豁免成功后，不办H1B应该也行。办绿卡的时间很长
的，J1豁免后不能延期，你们要考虑好时间，最好能让她也能办H1B。
