Position Summary
Mini Circuits is looking to add an individual to perform mechanical and systems design of RF and Microwave Test Systems as well as project management of RF and Microwave Test Systems projects.
Job Functions
Design RF and Microwave Test Systems (i.e. rack mounted & portable test equipment), enclosures and other necessary components according to customer specifications and the requirements defined in the EIA (Electronic Industrial Association) standards. Provide support for all activities (material planning, purchasing, machine shop, assembly, etc.) necessary to build, test and ship RF and Microwave Test Systems. Review and provide design inputs for purchased components. Project management of the day-to-day activities (design, material planning, build and test) required for the successful completion of all projects. Work in accordance with all company and department procedures. Identify potential problems and notify Team Leader as necessary. Access engineering data in AS/400 network and documentation room.
Required Qualifications
B.S. or M.S in Mechanical Engineering with 3-5 years’ recent experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read, write and orally communicate proficiently in English. Solid experience using Solidworks and AutoCAD as a tool for creating designs and layouts, and for creating shop drawings for the manufacture of mechanical parts. Experience designing parts from metal / sheet metal for manufacture. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Knowledge of parts creation from metal
