You should get a package after lay off. Then you have the option to buy Cobra. You can use the same health insurance as before, but you pay for it. You can keep it for a pretty long time, maybe one year. Don't worry.

估计保险是有办法的,前面妹妹都给意见了,现在mm最重要是保重身体,保证顺产,mm的lg不知道身份有问题嘛?如果还没有到485,那就赶紧找个下家先backup一下,然后请hr尽量拖后发最后一张paycheck的日期,还有如果是layoff,一般都有不错的package 的,钱上就先别担心了,

一般会有severance的 severance期间保险照旧的
severance之后可以用cobra保险

今天早上老公接到老板电话跟我说明了一下就立马去公司了,中午没时间回来吃饭,但是给我打了电话,说没有想像的那么糟糕,还不至于完全没辙了,让我不要担心~
更细致的情况他说要晚上下班回来再说了~

不用担心。我公司有的离开半年了多了, 还在用COBRA呢。
还有,加州对产妇有medi-Cal的。MM可以上政府网查询一下。

我刚刚输入关键词medi-cal eligibility, pregnancy, 浏览了几个网站。medi-cal 是加州的医保,cal stands for california. 你可以申请的。

就算你催产,孩子的证件没有那么快办下来的,L110天就要走人?太不凑巧了吧,你或者去申请一个社区大学,秋季班马上就开始了,转签证能行吗?
是啊,孩子的签证什么都没有,我觉得什么事情都不可能在10-20天内搞定,把家里所有东西送出去或者卖出去也许可以办到,
身份,证件,很多东西,10-20天。。。。。哎。11点了完全没有睡觉的心思。

mm,我以前公司倒闭的时候是没有cobra的,cobra需要还有公司交premium,如果公司liquidation,就什么都没有了。

我现在发现基本上什么都没有了,没有合法继续留下的身份,我貌似基本上不能买啥保险和享受Medi-Cal ,
我们如果身份完全失效以后,就是黑下来生孩子了?对不?
而且孩子生在这里以后也是一堆问题,孩子身份,证件,要等多久,我倒无所谓孩子国籍,但是现在让我回国去生,我也上不了飞机。

公司都倒了,COBRA也估计没戏,明天找个移民律师问问吧,没有专业知识,谁也帮不上忙
是啊,准备找律师问下,就这么想,今天晚上不睡觉也想不出来解决办法。
据我所知,医疗保险不会立刻没有的,因为都是一个period买的。
