I am a Chinese citizen. I am writing to report a charity fraud related to Chinese earthquake occurred in May 2008, and the disaster relief fund has never been contributed to Sichuan disaster areas in accordance with donors' original will. I suspect the behavior is a crime.
The non-profit charity organization I am reporting is Ziyi Zhang Foundation, CA FEIN 262637316 (the “Foundation”). Below are the suspected criminal evidence:
Chinese actress Ziyi Zhang, DOB 02/09/1979, (“Zhang”) registered the Foundation on 05/19/2008 in the purpose of raising fund for China earthquake of May 2008.
On 06/24/2008, the Foundation acquired IRS tax exemption, indicating the reason is that the Foundation raised as much as $500,000 in the first three weeks of the establishment.
On 07/21/2008, received tax-exemption approval confirmation from IRS, valid from 05/19/2008.
On 11/04/2008, California Attorney General approved the Foundation as non-profit organization status that's valid through 05/15/2009. The foundation was then out of status until the renewal on 02/09/2010.
According to Zhang's own claims and Chinese press releases, Zhang conducted at least three solicitation campaigns between 05/21/2008 and 05/22/2008 in the name of China earthquake, in Cannes, France. After that, Zhang also posted an ad on the magazine The Hollywood Reporter, appealing for public donation, for the same purpose.
Also according to Zhang's own claims and Chinese press releases, the total amount of the disaster relief fund the Foundation raised was as much as $1,000,000, some say $5,000,000.
The crucial fact is that, by today, 04/27/2010, Sichuan disaster areas have not received any relief fund from the Foundation.
I suppose that the behavior of the Foundation, has already broken the law of the US. Please see below:
As a legally registered non-profit charity organization, the Foundation must obey the relevant state laws and federal laws. However, the Foundation has no transparent records of donation details and account transactions related to disaster relief activity, which is the Foundation's largest program,
As of on 2008 Form 990-EZ of the Foundation, the total revenue is $45,471, total expenses is $5,755 and the net assets is $39,716. As of on 2009 Form 990-N, both asset amount and income amount are $0. Obviously the relief fund that the Foundation raised in 2008 has been embezzling because the fund did not go to any disaster areas in China.
Based on the above facts, I am reporting to you and hope you can conduct judicial investigation of the Foundation.

People in China and northern America reported the suspected crime of Zhang and the foundation to IRS, FBI, and Attorney Generals in California and New York. All institutions have confirmed that the judicial investigation is conducting toward Zhang and the Foundation.
Based on the above facts, Zhang is no longer a qualified candidate of QMAS. On the prerequisite part of the application form, question 3.3 “Have you ever been convicted of any crimes or offences either on Hong Kong or elsewhere?” The answer on Zhang's application will be “Yes”, which causes a definite denial.

This is a follow-up of my last report of suspected criminal Ziyi Zhang Foundation CA FEIN 262637316 (the “Foundation”) .
After having been questioned by public since January 2010, newspaper China Daily released a report on 03/16/2010 concerning a special interview with Ziyi Zhang DOB 02/09/1979 (“Zhang”) that was taken in the mid-night of 03/10/2010. During the interview, Zhang basically denied all numbers reported by all medias before. On 03/17/2010, Zhang showed public a 10-page memorandum provided by glaser, weil, fink, jacobs, howard & shapiro, LLP., a law firm located in LA. This 10-page memorandum described the details of Zhang's Cannes event, which is the best known one of all solicitation events.
Once the memorandum published, more questions were raised by public. A big one is why Zhang claimed that in the fundraising event absolutely no personal checks were received. As we all know personal check is a very common payment term for charity donations, plus, in an interview in early February Zhang's manager Lucas Ling told the media that there were some contributions made by personal checks. Then the questions are here: is it possible that all checks went to an undiscovered bank account? If the answer is yes, what role did this account play and how much fund Zhang actually raised from all solicitation events in both France and the States?
I am writing to express my extreme concern about the coming 2010 Cannes Movie Festival.

I am writing to report a suspicious money laundering crime. The California registered charity organization Ziyi Zhang Foundation CA FEIN 262637316 (the “Foundation”) is suspected of using the charity account to do international money laundering.
Chinese citizen Ziyi Zhang DOB 02/09/1979 (“Zhang”) registered the Foundation purposely on 05/19/2008 for fundraising for the victims in China earthquake of May 2008. Zhang's manager, Singaporean citizen Lucas Ling (“Ling”) aided Zhang went through the application. Ling also has a chair in the Foundation's board of directors. A different story tells that Zhang's fiancee, US citizen Aviv Nevo (“Nevo”) set up the Foundation on Zhang's behalf in California.
After the establishment of the Foundation, Zhang conducted at least three solicitation campaigns in Cannes France during the film festival, escorted by Nevo. Zhang also posted an ad on magazine The Hollywood Reporter, appealing for public donations in helping China earthquake relief. The ad indicated the address (333 S Hope Street, 20th Floor, Los Angeles, CA 90071) and addressee (Susan Pam) to whom the donation checks should be sent.
On Form 990-EZ 2008 of the Foundation, the total revenue is $45,471, total expenses is $5,755 and the net assets is $39,716. On Form 990-N 2009, both asset and income amount are $0. However, according to Zhang's own claims and Chinese press releases, the total disaster relief fund the Foundation raised was $1,000,000, some say $5,000,000. Also, a rumor from Nevo's friend in Hong kong says that at least $2,000,000 went to Zhang's private account. This piece of rumor probably explains why the Foundation's 990 forms show these odd numbers and, as of today, 03/14/2010, none of disaster relief institutions in China received any fund from the Foundation.
Based on the Foundation's sophisticated background and abnormal operation, the Foundation is suspected of doing international money laundering.

Dear Department Director:
I am a Chinese citizen. I am writing to report Chinese actress Ziyi Zhang DOB 02/09/1979, (“Zhang”) who applied The Quality Migrant Admission Scheme, is suspected of breaking laws in the States. Below are the suspected criminal evidences:
Zhang registered Ziyi Zhang Foundation, CA FEIN 262637316 (the “Foundation”) on 05/19/2008 for the purpose of raising fund for China earthquake of May 2008. Later then California Attorney General approved the Foundation as non-profit organization. The Foundation was valid through 05/15/2009, and then out of status until the renewal on 02/09/2010.
According to Zhang's own claims and Chinese press releases, Zhang conducted at least three solicitation campaigns for the victims in the earthquake on 05/21/2008 and 05/22/2008 in Cannes France. After that, Zhang also posted an ad for the Foundation on California magazine The Hollywood Reporter, appealing for public donations, for the same purpose.
Also according to Zhang's own claims and Chinese press releases, the total amount of the disaster relief fund the Foundation raised was as much as $1,000,000, some say $5,000,000. However, as of today, 03/31/2009, Sichuan disaster areas did not receive any relief fund from the Foundation.
Zhang and the Foundation with Zhang as chairman, are on suspicion of violating both California laws and federal laws.
People in China and northern America reported the suspected crime of Zhang and the foundation to IRS, FBI, and Attorney Generals in California and New York. All institutions have confirmed that the judicial investigation is conducting toward Zhang and the Foundation.
Based on the above facts, Zhang is no longer a qualified candidate of QMAS. On the prerequisite part of the application form, question 3.3 “Have you ever been convicted of any crimes or offences either on Hong Kong or elsewhere?” The answer on Zhang's application will be “Yes”, which causes a definite denial.
Please deny Zhang's QMAS application.

Report new evidence of suspected fraud - Ziyi Zhang Foundation CA FEIN 262637316
Dear Department Director:
This is a follow-up of my last report of suspected criminal Ziyi Zhang Foundation CA FEIN 262637316 (the “Foundation”) .
After having been questioned by public since January 2010, newspaper China Daily released a report on 03/16/2010 concerning a special interview with Ziyi Zhang DOB 02/09/1979 (“Zhang”) that was taken in the mid-night of 03/10/2010. During the interview, Zhang basically denied all numbers reported by all medias before. On 03/17/2010, Zhang showed public a 10-page memorandum provided by glaser, weil, fink, jacobs, howard & shapiro, LLP., a law firm located in LA. This 10-page memorandum described the details of Zhang's Cannes event, which is the best known one of all solicitation events.
Once the memorandum published, more questions were raised by public. A big one is why Zhang claimed that in the fundraising event absolutely no personal checks were received. As we all know personal check is a very common payment term for charity donations, plus, in an interview in early February Zhang's manager Lucas Ling told the media that there were some contributions made by personal checks. Then the questions are here: is it possible that all checks went to an undiscovered bank account? If the answer is yes, what role did this account play and how much fund Zhang actually raised from all solicitation events in both France and the States?

It seemed that writing complaint letters to 铂金 was not an effective way. Any better ideas of urging 铂金 to withdraw their support to ZZY?

演员章子怡打着为2008年5月四川大地震募善款的名义在法国嘎那，美国纽约等进行了至少四次公开海外募款，并在媒体大肆宣扬自己的善举。她以此获得了巨大的荣誉和多个慈善大奖。
但是，极具讽刺的是，时过近两年，章子怡被查到这些海外募款没有一分钱投入到灾区，而且章子怡迟迟不愿意公开募款详细并不愿向灾区及被她当时欺骗的国民道歉。在拿慈善大奖的时候，她为什么不说我没有募到钱？为什么不说没有把钱给灾区？她的诚信在哪里？她的爱心在哪里？她的善心在哪里？她的良心在哪里？我们只看到了她的欺骗和功利。所谓的募款，所谓的灾区，都只是她宣传的道具。

问花花妞个问题：你们已经捐了款找了律师告状等待调查中。在事情结论没有出来之前，你支持LZ倡导的给各大代言商广告商发投诉信的做法吗？我说的是给广告商的投诉，不是对政府监管部门的投诉。
捐款告状或者向政府部门投诉我觉得过激但是可以理解，你们认为她出发点就是坏的而且昧着捐款，对她给的说法不满就自己组织要个说法。不过也有人认为她出发点是好的处理上有了疏漏（包括我）。那么在事实结论没有出来以前，你认为向各大广告商投诉让她丢代言丢饭碗的行为，是正当的和正义的吗？ 如果以后证明她有罪，那是你们的功劳。如果以后证明她没罪，那现在这些投诉对她的影响呢？
还是说你认为不管调查结果如何，道义上她就该被整被丢代言丢饭碗？那这个和法律责任就不相关了。对这个“道义上该不该”的问题，又是包括了主观看法和不同意见的了。
我现在已经不参与争论了。不过这个MM说话也算有理有据，平静陈述自己观点，也不是新注册的
这个我是不相信的，如果真是处理上的疏漏，很容易解决，马上拿出证据澄清道歉（看人家别的影星立刻就能做出回应不是吗？），而不是拖拖拉拉好半天不露面，经纪人的说法自相矛盾前后不一。另外，到现在章子怡也没有诚恳道歉，她自己博客上误导大众的那些文章真的是黑客所为？

我觉得诚信是个很客观的东西，把说了的做到就这么简单。
100万变成84万，虽然不算什么大过，但也是不诚信的，后面的100万刀铺天盖地的宣传了那么久，我就不信她才知道，这本身就是在说谎。以前的白宫吃饭奥运点火就都别提了，你大概觉得那些都是搜狐的责任吧
她的表现是否可以接受倒是很主观的东西，谁都看的出她是想弥补过去的错误，但想要弥补，首先她是要真的认识到自己错了，拿出有效力的账目，把事实讲清楚，向公众道歉，退还慈善大奖，而不是象现在这样捐点钱看望下伤员，这样只会让人觉得她想掩盖错误而不是弥补错误
还有，我一点也不觉得晒发票是什么坏事，慈善只有实现公正透明，让人们明确知道钱是怎么来的钱是怎么花的，才能鼓励更多的人参与慈善，而且我也相信老老实实捐款的人是不会害怕别人挑刺的

如果她原来就说我捐84万，而不是铺天盖地宣传的100万，我对她的印象会好一点。说谎说多了变成狼来了的孩子，大家质疑也是情理之中

你先给大家解释下什么叫做秀？潘长江给玉树捐款专门跑到新浪上开博告诉大家我捐款了算不算做秀？如果按照这个标准，岂不是大多数艺人都要陷入口水中。郭德纲说谁要是敢当面说他捐款做秀，他就当面抽谁的耳光！！
行善而为人所之者，是为积阳善;行善而不为人所之者，是为积阴德。人的追求名有不同。美国社会环境也允许名人借慈善牟利，既做慈善又出名，这本是很正常的事情。做谓做秀？
什么叫做秀，就是说自己募到100W美元还为此领了个奖，其实只有募捐到1300美元。

Dear Department Director:
I am writing to report a suspicious money laundering crime. The California registered charity organization Ziyi Zhang Foundation CA FEIN 262637316 (the “Foundation”) is suspected of using the charity account to do international money laundering.
Chinese citizen Ziyi Zhang DOB 02/09/1979 (“Zhang”) registered the Foundation purposely on 05/19/2008 for fundraising for the victims in China earthquake of May 2008. Zhang's manager, Singaporean citizen Lucas Ling (“Ling”) aided Zhang went through the application. Ling also has a chair in the Foundation's board of directors. A different story tells that Zhang's fiancee, US citizen Aviv Nevo (“Nevo”) set up the Foundation on Zhang's behalf in California.
After the establishment of the Foundation, Zhang conducted at least three solicitation campaigns in Cannes France during the film festival, escorted by Nevo. Zhang also posted an ad on magazine The Hollywood Reporter, appealing for public donations in helping China earthquake relief. The ad indicated the address (333 S Hope Street, 20th Floor, Los Angeles, CA 90071) and addressee (Susan Pam) to whom the donation checks should be sent.
On Form 990-EZ 2008 of the Foundation, the total revenue is $45,471, total expenses is $5,755 and the net assets is $39,716. On Form 990-N 2009, both asset and income amount are $0. However, according to Zhang's own claims and Chinese press releases, the total disaster relief fund the Foundation raised was $1,000,000, some say $5,000,000. Also, a rumor from Nevo's friend in Hong kong says that at least $2,000,000 went to Zhang's private account. This piece of rumor probably explains why the Foundation's 990 forms show these odd numbers and, as of today, 03/14/2010, none of disaster relief institutions in China received any fund from the Foundation.
Based on the Foundation's sophisticated background and abnormal operation, the Foundation is suspected of doing international money laundering.
