给父母办过延期的请进来

请家小的jm们有经验的给出出主意。
情况是这样的，妈妈现在在这边，i-94六月底过期，因为我8月份毕业，想让妈妈待到我毕业之后，我们就一起回去（彻底归）。另外，想邀请我爸爸过来参加毕业典礼，顺便旅游，计划是下个月中下旬去签证，不想在那个时候因为妈妈的延期影响爸爸的签证，所以想拖晚一些再递交延期申请，但我不知道最晚的期限是什么时候，来得及吗？
问题：
1。请问最晚得在I-94过期之前多长时间提交申请？
2。材料寄出去一般多久能收到receipt？

也许第一个问题比较难回答。那大家能说说都是提前多久递交延期申请的吗？寄出去后几天收到receipt?

almost one month submitted the material, and recieved it almost half year later........

I can't input chinese in office.
 
I submitted the application two and half months before I-94 expire for my parent in law and received receipt one or two weeks later. I just received the approval. It took almost  2 months.

I submitted the application online on 3/6/10. received receipts a week later. I mailed the supporting documentation via certified mail. Approved on 4/7/10.

总结下来，貌似最多1-2个星期就能收到receipt，那我应该可以等爸爸签证完再帮妈妈申请延期，那个时候离i-94过期还有一个月，应该来得及。

我们用的e-file，马上就有receipt no.,当然还是拿到hard copy放心点

那就是提前2个月 申请比较保险阿

Congrats! Do you mind sharing a bit on how your petition got approved (what's your reason for extension of stay)? I've heard so many cases that got denied.

那个只是建议。事实上只要在i94过期前收到receipt就行。
