AKC allows in-breed, CKC doesnt... lot of peoplejustwant the look not the quality...and AKC enable the breeder to breed the perfect look dog (might not be healthy cuz of in-breed)....and AKC is really trashy...they let every dog get registered...CKC is very selective...so I think registered is very important...otherwise, adoption could be another option....
