网络通信专家Tal Lavian指出，Alice失踪后，她的账户曾发送一封电子邮件，信号来自Harald入住酒店的无线网络，并通过笔记本电脑完成。
关于手部受伤的矛盾说法
Harald在台湾期间手部受伤的问题，他给出的说法前后不一。他称：自己是与哥哥摔跤、撞上书架，或给轮胎打气时受伤。
医生Katherine Putz在周二作证说，2019年12月1日，她在山景城一家急诊中心接诊Harald。Harald当时告诉她，伤是在Alice失踪当天所致，且骨折类型符合拳击造成的伤情。
“当情况对他不利时，他就开始编故事。”原告律师Todd说。
Harald由律师Chuck Smith代理。他在结案陈词时播放了一张幻灯片，画面是一名黑色剪影人物，带有一个白色问号，标题为：“Alice：一个神秘的女人。”
律师Chuck表示，Alice曾谎称自己毕业于加州大学伯克利分校，还曾要求Harald编造两人相识的“封面故事”。除了她的大姐外，Alice与家庭成员关系疏远。
