https://www.cnn.com/2025/06/19/science/video/spacex-starship-rocket-explosion-digvid An explosion occurred late Wednesday night at SpaceX’s Starbase facility in South Texas. A Starship rocket preparing for its tenth flight test experienced a “major anomaly,” SpaceX says. There were no injuries and all employees are accounted for, according to SpaceX. The cause of the explosion and the extent of any damage are unclear. CNN has reached out to local police and fire departments for more information.
The time it takes to travel to Mars depends on several factors, primarily the relative positions of Earth and Mars and the type of spacecraft used. Here's a general breakdown: 🚀 Average Travel Time: 6 to 9 months using current technology (e.g., NASA missions like Perseverance or Curiosity). 📏 Distance Consideration: The average distance between Earth and Mars is about 225 million kilometers (140 million miles). At closest approach (opposition), it's about 54.6 million kilometers (33.9 million miles).

Waymo
