Without operation -- which I think is the best option for solid tumors -- immunotherapy or tace or chemotherapy has only 30% to 40% response rate. Also, TACE might weaken patients and then doctors might hesitate to do operations afterwards. You need to talk with oncologists ASAP to get the best options for your mom. If you are in the US, go to a hospital specified in treating cancer, not just a comprehensive or teaching hospital. I will pray for you.

楼主，我觉得你母亲的方案挺好，你不好过多干预，反倒让她精神不好。这个年纪查出癌症早期，又有其他基础病。保守治疗比较好
楼主劝说妈妈接受治疗吧。我婆婆82岁发现肾癌，做了切除后活到88岁，那几年生活质量很好

我妈的小学同学79岁，做了无创的伽玛刀治疗肺癌，最近的复查没啥事了。不过她属于多发的，也不好切。她属于比较乐观性格，自己先约着同学出去玩了10天就去做了，总共做了伽玛刀5次，第三次就不咳嗽了。
你母亲是早期的应该是全切比较好。
你妈是对的！保守治疗和陪妈妈生活一段时间是目前你能为她做的最好的。

不知道楼主打听的是国内还是国外的医生。国内普遍都有过渡治疗的问题，患者余生的生活质量不在考虑范围之内。
这种治疗方案应该让母亲自己来订。
我感觉现在不少医生会考虑病人的生存质量，80了不一定要用化疗。可以用手术切除+ 靶向免疫+定点放疗。 我同学的妈妈79岁诊断出肾癌，直接切除了一个肾。主刀医生甚至都认为放疗不是必需的。最后他们自己又找了专家， 建议预防性放疗一下。平时就吃免疫药物。完全不考虑化疗。生存质量还挺好的。
我自己的父亲也没有化疗，用的是手术切除+ 靶向免疫+定点放疗。
LZ多做功课，找治疗理念和你妈妈接近的治疗团队。 现在很多 人，才40+，50+，60+就患了癌症。老龄是癌症最大的诱发原因。你妈妈80了，和这些年轻的病人比，已经算幸运的了。
LZ妈妈害怕重蹈一遍LZ爸爸治疗的痛苦。LZ多和妈妈讲讲，每个病人的情况不一样，而且现在治疗理念进步了。
另外， PET只能是辅助诊断，有些信号不清楚，也不能仅靠PET就排除别的地方没有肿瘤。因为小的肿瘤PET有可能检测不到。确诊还是要考病理切片。 不太明白为啥LZ妈妈的医生仅靠PET结果就能做诊断。总之我爸就诊时，医生讲话都挺谨慎。
他发现的时候已经晚期， 说只有两年时间，活了五年， 最关键的是那五年我见他两次， 不知情的一定看不出他是肝癌晚期病人， 满面红光， 吃嘛嘛香。 最后是一天中饭之后去午觉，就没醒来， 据说是肝脏功能太低导致内出血没救过来。
我觉得lz还是要去说服你妈妈去做介入， 如果条件允许的话， 就不延长寿命， 对生命最后几年的生活质量也是很有帮助的。
我妈以前肿瘤科做， 我从小的噩梦就是我同学爸爸晚期肝癌我去找我妈被我撞见， 真是浑身发绿， 完全不成人样， 我撞见第二天那个叔叔就过世了。
所以我都不敢相信我公公那五年的状态， 天壤之别。
你妈妈这种早期可以治疗的情况绝对应该治疗，这样才会提高以后几年的生活质量，放任癌症发展才会以后更痛苦。

80岁老人，开刀风险太大。这么大年纪，癌细胞生长速度应该也比较慢了。可能还是带癌长期生存好一些。
