出租房去年换了roof, 今年报税时怎么报depreciation?

好几年前买了一个出租房，去年屋顶漏水，就换了新roof. 请问今年报税时怎么样报roof depreciation?
比如以前我每年depreciation 是7000块(MACRS depreciation). 去年换roof花了10000块，今年的depreciation 应该怎么报？

保险的办法是：可以加一项roof depreciation 按27.5年折旧 激进的办法（有一些风险）：用section 179或算作repair第一年抵扣全部cost
