听邻居说她家的普瓦，随便申请了前6个UC，都是CS，现在发榜的都拿到了，包括UCD，UCI，UCSD。还都带最高奖学金。

有的。我儿子拿到了。不用申请，他收到 email 还以为是诈骗，钱直接进了他账户，他也不知道，我们收到 mail 问他才知道是真的。

UCB, UCLA也不难进的, 华人上老讲这两所排名多高多难进, 比小藤都难, 但知道好几个被这两所学校录取了的, 都被Cornell 据了
UC 有奖学金，叫 regents，UCB/UCLA/UCSB 过去 2500/年，疫情后涨到 5000/年。UCSD 和 UCD 给的更多。 UCSD每年给 10多个全奖的 （免学费，免住宿，免伙食费）。因为这10多个全奖的都是牛蛙，很多能拿到 TOP 5， 所以真正最后决定拿全奖去 UCSD 的也就几个学生。 UCD 过去能给到 7500/年 （那时 UCB/UCLA 才 2500/年）， 不知现在 UCD奖学金有没有涨的更多些。 说容易进 UC，那是针对某些特定种族， 和某些冷门专业。 当年 SAT 2400 分时，我小孩考了 2300，才拿到 UCSD （UCB/UCLA 都没拿到），但他其中一个 roommate 是墨裔， 住LA最差的区的， SAT 才 1800就拿到 UCSD 了。好像是教育专业。那个墨裔说毕业后就去他的区做老师。
哦 校董奖学金不难拿。不过 UCB 和 UCLA 的就比较厉害了。

有奖学金，我儿子那年拿到了UCD的一个奖学金，每年一万多， 名字我忘了，没申请，发offer的时候给的，不过他去了分文不给的UCSD, 我家交州外学费
这不就是普通奖学金吗? 一年只有几千块，相对于外州学费杯水车薪
还不如加州的非法移民呢
AB540 nonresident exemption 规定加州非法移民，只要是在美国高中毕业的，读UC可以免学费，合法移民反而不行

而且UC申请集中了加州最好的学生，外州最好的除了UCLA和UCB一般都看不上吧？还是看GPA，SAT等硬核数据才有说服力。
上面两个UCSD其中一个是UCSB？ 我看到的你列的数据是外州比overall高不少，而且加州只要求70% in-state吧？所以州内比overall要低不少的
我们州NJ也差不多，前几年有两个去UCLA CS的，高中学校一般，他们在学校也不是多拔尖，虅校都没录取，觉得还是我们东岸州申请加州大学的少吧？
外州的可以收高学费呀。UMD还给加州娃发奖学金
