Bags will no longer fly free on Southwest Airlines. The carrier  announced Tuesday that it will begin charging certain passengers to check their first two bags on flights, a significant shift at the company long prized by customers for the perks that set it apart from other major U.S. airlines. The new rules will take effect on flights booked on or after May 28. Southwest did not specify how much it will charge for checked bags. 然后什么退票credit 有效期也变短了，他家是不是不行了？这样人家干啥不坐神经航空和边疆，更便宜

那这个公司，价格也不便宜、全是波音飞机，以后有啥竞争力？
新CEO是private equity 推上台的，估计和新CFO要把报表pump 上去是第一要务

就是终于跟别的航空公司看齐了
再也没有优势了
以后买机票也不用先看南北航空了

据说是他家最高级别会员还是免费，第二等级的免费1个，普通票的不免。

本来挺好一公司，盈利比其他航空公司都好，去年反抗了一年，还是被private equity 强行控股了，开始搞这些乱七八糟的。本来take over以后想干掉CEO，把自己的CEO推上去，没搞成。不知道还有没有可能反击。估计是没戏了。这个private equity为了短期低买股票，控股，然后做短期报表数据，推高股价高卖，然后丢下烂摊子拍屁股走人，搞垮了很多家本来挺好的大公司。
