Me too! I have done all of maintenance and repairs for all of our 11 cars (mostly Toyota's cars) during the last ~40 years except once (to replace the mechanical fuel pump seal next to the engine in late 1980s).
自己开个garage如果手艺好，会聊天，确实每年挣个20万不难，就是比较辛苦。
我欧车，找local 修车店，tire rotation 30, 换油加check 119, 刹车片加盘一对580， 你再加一对刹车片800应该够了

修车铺， 律师行， 保险公司是美国三大毒瘤。
电车2万5轮胎就不行了，4个换下来也要1500
还有电车刹车片刹车盘也要换的
对我来说比修车可简单多了。也快。
