Hi all, hopefully you have already heard, but just in case, I wanted to bring to your attention a national Stand up for Science movement being organized on March 7th. Please spread the word to your communities! I also want to recognize that we all have different levels of privilege and ability to take on risk. So if this is something you're fired up about and want to take to the streets, go for it! If you are ready to act but don't think it's a good idea for you to demonstrate, there are lots of things that you can do to support the organization of such demonstrations and that's important too! 历来gop都是不支持research funding，民主党支持的。但是什么都有现在是没法实现的
学校和科研界大部分投的是民主党。这个是有统计数据的就不要用小马过河几个身边人投川普数据反驳了。川普上台打击气候变化派和新能源是早就可以预期的不过确实没预想到这么大规模减少各种funding。这会带来长期恶果跟摧毁美国很多软实力恶果一样。不过对中国是利好估计不少人会回国。
