就是典型的歧视外国人的做法。 我遇到过两次， 一次是一个十几岁来美国的华女，和他的白人男朋友说， I don't understand a word she's saying. 她但凡友好一点， 也可以用中文再问一下。 另一次是在一个白人小镇， 居民很白， 被一个老白女店员骂， I don't understand a word you said. Speak English! 我那个时候不懂得投诉。

确实是欲加之罪何患无辞。何况川普这样的大嘴巴。明明是第一次让他大声点，第二次是扩音器杂音，听不清很正常，已经有工作人员凑上去要帮忙了。主媒和这版上又要自嗨四年，可惜这回和四年前不一样了。
我有印度同事，所以听那个记者的问题一点不费劲。我觉得川普完全听懂了，他是不想回答那个问题。

我大概能听懂一半？ 以前的同事挺多印度人的。我要面对面确认几次才能完全听懂。 主要是他们语速挺快的。我队友native English speaker也经常需要我给他英对英翻译。

我也是，第一遍还能听懂一些词，第二遍记者提高了音量，但是扑麦的声音就更大了，完全听不懂了。 我们部门里一代烙印说话我经常放弃理解，实在太难懂了，尤其他们还喜欢说很快，慢的时候才有希望。

我试着听了一遍，到那个人名就不知所云了。有些媒体有意这样问，事后做文章——想想长者在香港的故事就好。重述时还如此，媒体就显得没诚意了。
语速还好应付，关键是人家的肢体语言——摇头表达的是yes
其实除非是学术/软件业的，周围有一堆老印天天熏陶你，否则普通美国人本来也不可能对老印口音无师自通。
