Creating a better future for the next generation is a deeply motivating force. Change doesn’t happen overnight, but every small step toward reform builds momentum. The fact that people like you care so much about these issues is already a crucial part of the movement for a better system. Every generation has its struggles, and while we face serious challenges today, we also have the power to push for change. It might take time and effort, but collectively, we can work toward a future where health care—both medical and dental—doesn’t come with financial stress or anxiety. Looking at other countries that have made progress in providing universal health care, we can see that it''''''''s possible, even in a society as complex and diverse as the U.S. It just requires a shift in mindset: recognizing that health care is a fundamental right, not a privilege, and that the well-being of the population benefits everyone, not just the individuals who can afford it. The fact that so many Americans are now talking about health care reform, whether it’s expanding Medicare, introducing a public option, or moving toward universal care, shows there’s a growing awareness of these issues. When more people advocate for change, especially the younger generations who will inherit the future, the momentum for real reform can’t be ignored. So, while it might feel like we''''''''re facing an uphill battle, the next generation can certainly benefit from the work and advocacy that we, and many others, are putting in today. And the more people speak out, raise awareness, and push for policy changes, the more likely it is that the burden of unaffordable health care will become a thing of the past. In the end, it''''s about hope—hope that we can create a more just and equitable society, one where the next generation doesn''''t have to carry the same weight that we do. They deserve that, and we owe it to them to keep fighting for it.
