Standing Desks Aren’t Just Useless—They Might Also Be Bad for Your Health
Researchers discovered that standing for extended periods did not reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke. In fact, spending too much time either sitting or standing was linked to a higher risk of problems such as varicose veins and feeling dizzy or lightheaded when you stand up.

MICT medium intensity continuous training 早就被证明远远不如 HIIT high intensity interval training 。
MICT 只适用于不能做 HIIT 或者有一定危险的,或者一段时间不锻炼比如 pandemic 后 roll in 的过渡期。
这个结果不奇怪。

What the fuck. They also discovered eating for extended amount will cause obesity and even stomach damage. Walking for extended amount will cause leg and foot damage.

以我大学一年级就被体育老师还有系花们夸的 L8 腹肌的经验,对于绝大部分 985/211 屌丝男女,排除医学风险不允许的情况,纯为健康而不是好看的角度,HIIT(High Intensity Interval Training)是正道,没有其他真正意义的捷径。
很多人推崇撸铁 ,,, 撸铁和 MICT (medium intensity continuous training) 其实是两个极端 ,,, HIIT 是折中 ,,, 所以我个人觉得撸铁也不如 HIIT,纯健康而不是肌肉美丽而言 ,,, HIIT 兼顾 cardio 和 strength,并且比例连续可调。
