It’s an increasingly common story as campaign signs vanish from yards and businesses ahead of November’s general election. This time, she and her partner John decided to take matters into their own hands. They used an Apple Airtag and had it with the sign. After their Harris/Walz campaign sign disappeared over the weekend – while other Democratic candidates’ signs remained untouched – Laura McCaskill followed its GPS tracker signal. The trail led them first to a Springfield restaurant, then south to a residential address in Nixa. “We ring the doorbell because [my partner] recognizes the car,” McCaskill said. After speaking with a neighbor, they eventually get a hold of a woman who came out and spoke to McCaskill.
