这个我确实要同意你， 思想上，伦理上和经济上的保守主意其实有不同的含义。
在西方文明的语境下， 保守主义一般主张渐进改良而不是激进革命（progressive, revolutionary 都不提倡），英美保守主义主张经济上自由放任， 政府尽量少干预， 联邦和州之间联邦尽量少管。 曾经的保守主义在社会方面要求回归传统家庭， 主张信教伦理， 信奉克制欲望，在个人的自由和责任方面恐怕更偏重于责任。 所以他们会反对同性恋、强调个人自由而不生育。但是这些已经不是今天保守派的主张了。 有这种观点的估计应该叫极端保守派。
无论川普还是谁， 不可能让美国社会回到妇女必须生育，同性恋非法的年代了， 但是同时， 政府权力膨胀，官僚机构相互利益勾连，架空民选过程和民选官员确实已经到了很严重的程度。 现在各种出面反对民主党的力量正因为说出了这个问题，所以能得到选民回应。

我用的强烈谴责， 重点在于谴责的程度， 我并没有说他公开谴责， 没有强调场合， 所以我不认为这是歪曲事实。
