太神奇了，搬来这么久从来不交NJ的车牌费？这是怎么做到的……
估计以前很松的漏过了，我们这里的大佬们的豪车都注册在VT度假家然后在康州家（康州车也交财产税的）开，后来是政府专门监视查询才收敛。
新泽西好像跟其他州不一样。我当场从德州搬华州也是通知一下车险公司完事了，这个流程到了新泽西行不通

我个人经验：Nationwide和Travelers 的保险都可以。

这边DMV可以walk in去办手续，正式牌照具体啥时候能寄过来不知道。但是我今天早上跟NJ的State farm Agent在电话里死磕了大概20分钟。对方坚持说必须拿到正式车牌照才能把车险从华州转过来，他给我的option就是换一家保险公司……

其实佛罗里达的保险费比康州贵一半， 车子很旧的话康州的财产税可以或略了吧。正解其实是转到康州。
