Look for a cornea specialist. The group referred by your friend is a pediatric ophthalmology group comprised of specialists who focus more on strabismus or more common pediatric eye problems. The first one you googled does have a corneal specialist ( the first doctor on the list). If the corneal abrasion is not healed by now or heals very slowly, seeing the corneal specialist asap is your best bet. When you look at the MD’s credentials, look for one that completed fellowship in corneal disease.

But it has been 1.5 week and your child is still not getting better in terms of symptoms, that is atypical. Of course there might be improvement that the ophthalmologist is seeing. When is your next follow up with the ophthalmologist? If they are concerned, they should be doing a fairly quick follow up like within a couple days. Did you tell them it is not improving over the phone and request an earlier follow up or referral? Usually family eye doctors/comprehensive MD should know which sub-specialists to refer to (fellowship trained ophthalmologists such as pediatric, retina, glaucoma, and cornea etc.) Googling is not a good way. But you can try call up those clinics you found and ask if they have any corneal specialists that is available. They might offer you a non-corneal specialist first but as long as they have a corneal specialist on site you should be fine. It could be an overkill but I would be more cautious since the patient is so young. It would be best if you can at least get the optometrist to write you a referral. This usually helps to secure an urgent appointment.

我觉得不需要换医生，如果没好转可以再去复诊，医生可能会开别的药或者换一种treatment，你换医生也是这个操作啊。

另外OK镜这么恐怖的，感觉以后孩子近视了也不敢给戴啊！mysight有没有好一点？而且日抛的也不容易感染，宁愿贵一点。OK镜也不便宜啊！而且难戴。
