Rutgers也好几个分校啊， 不同分校排名差别也挺大的。

因为即使去公立州大也得交外州外国学费。不比私立便宜多少。不考虑学费，私立从各方面看，比大公立好很多。美国学生大多数上本州州立，最大原因就是因为便宜。
Psu 不叫college station。你说的是tamu吧

这些数据差别意义不大，东北的录取率不到6%，比很多T20还低。都是二流旗舰大，一个等级的。
psu的录取是包括很多分校的，主校区没有那么高 而且是分院校录取 看网上说主校区的商学院去年录取率是5%（可能就是申请人多）
PSU 主校区 state college, 就是太偏远，去哪里都不方便，山窝里。以前号称工程师摇篮，最近几年落寞了。
PSU都是2+2，分校最后都是college station。主校装不了那么都多学生，就下放去分校。分校刷GPA容易。
