In general, you can withdraw your Roth IRA contributions at any time. But you can only pull the earnings out of a Roth IRA after age 59 1/2 and after owning the account for at least five years. Withdrawing that money earlier can trigger taxes and a 10% early withdrawal penalty.
Depends. if the over contribution has passed tax year in your case 2020. Just call schwab to transfer excessive contribution out and you will pay 6% of the excessive amount penalty for each year if that money remained in roth IRA. the earning can stay in Roth IRA. No tax just penalty to IRS.
