It allows the president to have emergency authority to control domestic industries. It was passed in 1950 and was modeled after the War Powers Acts, which allowed President Franklin D. Roosevelt to control the domestic economy during World War II.

大家多是高科技业从业者，关注点都在这些IT大公司上。其实传统行业的裁员更厉害，大家都没注意而已
当年微软买 blizzard 的时候正是 metaverse 高峰时期。

我老公在航运业，也是传统行业，公司也在裁员，心惊胆战的。
大家都只关心华尔街金融业和湾区IT业了，其实传统行业真的很不景气。
都是借钱在那里花，零利率不花白不花。好日子过去了，靠劳动赚钱，发现大部分公司压根不劳动也不赚钱。
