起因是德州政府违反联邦法私自立州法，州法允许德州警察在没有搜查令的情况下直接进入私人领土赶走非法移民，并且允许德州在没有联邦移民法的批准下私自在边境设立滚刀铁丝网（实际上这些铁丝网根本拦不住非法移民，拿铁丝钳剪短就完事了）
所以最高法主要反对的是德州州法违宪，无需搜查令即可进入私人领地搜查这一点，铁丝网其实根本不重要，是共和党用来宣传的一个噱头

因为美国法律有漏洞啊，来者都说自己是难民要政庇。这要审查啊遣返啊，又没钱又没人力又要人道主义。要根除这就要修改宪法。
加州墨西哥边境第一是短，第二是不荒凉，巡逻容易，管得严。 其次甲州边境本来就有接纳合法移民（包括难民）的出入口，非移进来的多，合法移民这边处理的就慢。 所以进来的总数能控制，不会造成社会问题， 同时如果因为非法移民的问题，导致合法移民的进度慢了，墨西哥那边自己也会加强警戒。
民主党在愚民这项上做的很成功, 有这个层主想法的人不少, 即使明知道现在政府很多政策不可理喻, 但是架不住对另外一个政党随时要迫害自己的恐惧。
