His fall score does not currently meet the requirements to be considered for grade advancement. Students will take their third math ZZZ assessment this year in the spring. His score in the spring will determine if he will be in honors math next year, or if he will be a candidate for grade advancement. For grade advancement, two ZZZ scores in the same school year must in the 95th percentile or higher when we look at two grade levels above their own. His fall score this year was not in the 95th percentile or higher when we look at sixth graders, but his winter score is in the 95th percentile for sixth graders. His spring score will need to do the same for grade advancement.
