short term disability必须工作满一年才能申请吗？

请问short term disability必须在公司工作满12个月吗？属于猎头员工，在公司做合同工目前三个月。今年1月1号在第三方买了short term disability保险，刚收到拒信。

我们州强制short term disability，公司买的私营保险的，没有用政府的，我们生病的不用满一年就可以用，照顾家人的family leave 法律规定是服务该公司满一年才可以，有些公司有对新生儿等情况取消限制，我们没有。 病假我们是头3天病假不付的，但如果是第一天就住院，那第一天就付。

FMLA 和STD不一样。工作不满一年FMLA被拒正常. 但STD一般的保险如果工作满三个月后应该就可以了, 但可能要证明你不是pre-condition
