说是这么说,实际上上了pip就没有回头路了。赶紧move on。
此外,像亚马逊这种有PIP 指标的公司,很容易造成内部相互挤压,高层拉帮结派,底层互相拆墙。把同事当做敌人,对于任何合作的事情都会想想要不要踩上对方一脚,或者让对方出点丑,或者至少不能让对方太得意等。无非是因为同事糟糕的表现可以提高自己生存(也包括升职)的概率。这种体制下,很容易激发出人性恶的一面。为啥总有人说某些公司的文化有毒,这肯定不是空穴来风。
这就跟当年反右的时候,老毛说中国有5%的人是坏人一样。反右最后反成啥样, 懂历史的人都懂。淘汰机制不可怕,但淘汰机制一旦有了指标,后果不堪设想。很难在这样体制下形成一种 同事之间真诚合作,全公司积极向上的氛围。
