就是苦力，磕头。我觉得kowtow是广东话，发音完全一样😅
工合，工业合作的简称。128抗战时期，美国人从一个支前的工人口中听到这个词。有个叫Evans的美国军官跟着八路作战，自以为学到了游击战精髓，回美国组建海军陆战队突击营，这个营的口号就是工合。后来突击营进行了美军在太平洋第一次反击作战马金岛偷袭，打的很臭，差点把罗斯福的大儿子交待在岛上。不过为了鼓舞士气，还是吹成大胜，还拍了部战时宣传电影gung ho,这个词才流传开来。
