Mcs and ece are easier to get into than scs. It is a valid strategy to apply to either and transfer to cs. Just note that it is not easy to transfer as you have to be above a gpa threshold (there is no limit to the amount of students that can transfer into cs). This means that if you are unable to transfer you will be stuck in your original major or you can do an additional major (basically double major) in cs. Just pick whichever major you like most that’s not cs if u believe you won’t get into scs. 私校才能转专业，大公校没戏，连工学院都不好转，更别说CS了
呃，那要就是为了上个好大学，物理化学是不是比数学和工程简单一些？肯定比cs简单，但不知道其他专业如何。如果按照国内的标准来看的话，化学基本都是调剂的。。。物理有个别是热爱的，但大部分也是调剂的。

T20大部分都是私校，本来就没有专业的限制，最大的问题是你的EC，essay得跟你申请的专业有联系。你说你要学化学也没问题，但是你的高中课程和EC就得跟化学紧密联系。你不可能修了一堆计算机的课，然后说我大学要学化学，编故事也是要有题材的
