有后续报道,这两个人就是运气太糟糕了,碰上了一头饥饿的年纪很大的熊(25岁的母熊,脂肪储备也比预期的少,可能跟今年夏天天气不好食物不足有关系吧)。他们露营的地方没有熊活动的警示牌,食物也储存的很好,还带了防熊喷雾和能报警的GPS,狗也许是个因素,但是没人知道。 另外,他们是back country camping,就是那种真的荒无人烟的野地。一般拖家带口去的那种有人管的营地还是很安全的。

普通的手枪基本是坑,绝对的副作用,熊既不受重伤,行动力也不减低,攻击意图则暴增
普通的步枪也作用不大,动能不够,对熊的阻断力是不够的
大口径枪支可能有点用,如果对手是黑熊的话。但对棕熊也困难,个头太大了。
前两天我家后院来了只熊,转了两圈走了。过了两天又回来了,当时我家狗就在后院,我听着声音不对,出去一看狗把熊撵地爬在篱笆上不敢下来。

我在阿拉斯加的时候,我带了枪,也买了防熊喷雾,在阿拉斯加公路沿边5英里内你不能开枪射熊。临走的时候,防熊喷雾不能带上飞机,然后我就试用了一下,把它喷光,说老实话,我不信那玩意,我还是相信枪。在美国坐飞机可以托运枪弹,但记得要申报,然后枪弹分离,枪弹要锁在枪盒里面托运。

最简单的方式,不要单独行动,据说,据说的啊,从来没有发生过熊攻击6人以上的团体的。熊的视力不好,遇到熊的时候,六个人凑一起,熊一看,这么大的东西,它就放弃了
感觉单独遇上棕熊是必死无疑, 所以hiking 要结群,五个以上成年人一起走,不要去偏远地区,尽量不要露营。在人多的trail 走一走就好。遇上熊就大家一起打,集体反抗抄家伙(看到的例子还是可以把熊打跑的 ),一两个人是不行的。

这对couple还是挺惨的。
铃铛是为了让熊听到离远点。hiking的时候没铃铛就大声聊天唱歌拍手都有用,野生动物通常不喜欢碰上人。跟打草惊蛇一个道理。

关于人多管不管用, 以前看到过几百层的帖子讨论. 结论是先看看, 遇上黑熊或是不太饿的棕熊, 能吓退的话, 人多管用. 遇上以前吃过人, 有心再吃的棕熊, 人挤在一起就是一起死, 四散奔逃的话能活大部分

我顺着这个链接看了这个youtuber的grizzly man。有几分钟的录音。棕熊袭击grizzlyman时,他打开了摄像机电源,还没来得及打开镜头盖,所以录了音。据说他女朋友被折磨了很久,一直到到摄像机电源耗尽,他女朋友都还没有死。整理原始纪录片的人听了两分钟后就吓得脸惨白,建议将录音销毁。。。太吓人了!昨晚我看了后一整晚都没睡好。一直想着恐怖的棕熊。我家以前还在黄石露营过。以后再不敢野外露营了。我觉得我以后走trail都不敢了。
防熊喷雾不是这么用的。
每年开年我都用防熊喷雾对着自己象征性的喷一下,保佑今年股市大吉,不出现熊市。
