美国不是几乎所有的州除了Montana都是employment at-will 吗?Job termination不是更容易?有工会保护的会好一些?

走了PIP程序就不用给分手包?
还是说指望着雇员自己辞职或者跳槽?
理论上说公司终止雇佣是不需要理由的
但是律师会联系被终止雇佣的前员工 然后去告公司说终止雇佣是因为某种歧视 律师特别喜欢找有钱的大公司 这样赔得多
公司为了自保 就搞一个PIP来完整记录这个员工的工作能力太低无法通过培训提高的问题
这样公司就有证据证明终止雇佣是因为工作能力问题 而不是因为歧视
这样律师有没法乱告了
不是有employment at-will吗?雇主可以不需要任何理由就可以解雇员工,不管performance好坏
除非被解职员工聘请的律师能找出和歧视相关的理由。我的理解正确吗?

如果雇主没有强有力的理由和书面证据
律师嘴皮子上下一碰就说你歧视了
然后法庭就信了
然后几十万就赔出去了
