Federal law protects traditional and Roth IRAs up to a certain limit, which is adjusted for inflation every three years. As of 2023, these IRAs are protected up to a balance of $1,512,350. SEP IRAs, SIMPLE IRAs, and most rollover IRAs are fully protected in the event of bankruptcy, as are 401(k) accounts. https://www.investopedia.com/ask/answers/081915/my-ira-protected-bankruptcy.asp

IRAs funded from a rollover of a previous employer’s retirement plan (each a “Rollover IRA”) are protected and do not count towards the limit for contributory traditional or Roth IRAs. Under BAPCPA, Rollover IRAs are entirely excluded from bankruptcy. https://rosenblattlawfirm.com/blog/creditor-protection-of-retirement-plan-assets/
In 2005, the BAPCPA amended the Bankruptcy Code, by exempting most organized retirement plans, even those not subject to ERISA, and accorded them protected status, claimable as exempt property by a debtor declaring bankruptcy under the U.S. Bankruptcy Code.

Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005 (“BAPCPA”) ,也许两者并不矛盾
Roll over 是traditional or Roth IRA 的其中一种
Rollover!!!
不是,rollover就是rollover,但是前的来源分before tax和after tax(Roth)。
