最近孩子们经香港回国， 并在东京停留一晚。能在美国之外使用Cellular data非常重要。 开始得到的信息是， 下了飞机就自动连接当地的网络了， 事实不是这样的。 孩子们到了日本， 电话马上接入当地电话网络， 可以打电话，text也可以收发， 但是data不work， 没有办法使用Google map等。 我Google解决方法无果，急忙联系Tmobile 客服， 几次三番接通不同部门， 祥林嫂一样的重复着面临问题，被各种不靠谱的人转来转去， 我自己就是IT tech support都被折腾的没脾气， 最后总算靠着international roaming team的instruction 和我自己的经验made it work. 发在这里希望能帮到别人。我的是iPhone， 如果你使用其他phone， 可以照猫画虎。请follow下面的步骤。 1. Setting >General >Transfer or Reset iphone > Reset >Reset Network Settings 2. shutdown and restart iphone 3. Setting > Cellular > Cellular Data on > Cellular Data option > Data Roaming on > Voice & Data > select LTE （原因：很多国家都还没有5G或者不给roaming的5G。 LTE一定有的） 4. Setting > Cellular > Network Selection > turn off the Automatic > let your phone search for the avaible network > start from the 1st option. you can try all the options. 5. most likely your phone should have data now. 6. if it still doesn''t work your phone may have other profile, you need to do following 7. Setting > General > VPN & Device Managment > if you see any configuration profile , delete it. (这些profile也许是你之前的电话公司安装的，一些prepaid的电话计划有时需要安装profile to make data work. 如果在TMobile这个profile是没有用的） 8. shutdown and restart. go back to Cellular and make all the settings as step 3-4. 9. if you can not find network selection and Celluar data option under the Cellular, you may find your phone number under SIMs, click the > at the right of your phone number, you will find the Network Selection and Celluar data option。 make sure the Data Roaming is on. 你使用的可能是TMobile locked phone， 已经pre-setup了， 我的都是unlocked iphone。 也可能是这个原因。
是啊，大不了就是重新set一下cellular， roaming… 2秒钟的事，楼主这一大篇。。。
我是苹果店买的unlocked phone
是呀， 写这么一堆挺费时间的， 我的电话有这样的问题， 不代表所有人都有这个问题。我用了很多时间解决了问题， 就希望遇到同样问题的人可以走捷径。
那就不知道， 什么cause it了。
