上报是告诉学校有人给我钱了，报完了就可以自己拿了。老师实在不放心，就把拿到的钱给学校。给钱是你的事，给了之后怎么处理你就不用管了。
作为老师学区可能有更严格的规定。
法律是法律，人家自己不说，谁能知道，除非你们举报。时间长了就发现美国其实很多地方和国内一样，只不过有自己的底限，但是也一样有很多人没有底限。
这就是为什么我们不要去考验人性。 也不要让老师难做。 送$50以下法律上没问题。
那你要加两个0。 谁会为了区区100块去犯法。也不会为了100块就对你孩子特殊关照。

小学开始每年至少七八个老师吧，每个都送两次我觉得娃也挺花时间写卡的

我们家中学生每年都自己决定要不要送，送哪位老师。他开口要送的都是真爱。基本每年也就一两位老师他真爱。
唯一一次例外是COVID那年全网课，我做了思想工作，他同意给每科老师都写了卡。我是真心觉得那时候网课对于大家都不容易，就是表达一下互相的感谢和支持。
