family doc 的Office Outpatient Visit Level 3 - 99213

我之前一直用Kaiser，最近换到PPO，找了一个family doctor。这个doctor每次给我收的费让我莫名其妙。第一次我in-person Office visit，付了per visit的copay。然后医生啥也没干，就聊了10分钟我的健康状况。然后回头我收到一个账单， Office Outpatient Visit Level 3 - 99213，保险后我还要付35刀。第二次我嗓子疼，video visit，她开了消炎药。结果今天我又收到了账单，Office Outpatient Visit Level 3 - 99213，保险后我还要付35刀。 所以这个Office Outpatient Visit Level 3 - 99213是什么啊？大家的家庭医生也这么收费吗？ 

这个是CPT Code，医生用这个来charge医保公司。不同的cpt code代表不同的医疗服务，对应相应的价格。 99213: Office or other outpatient visit for the evaluation and management of an established patient, which requires a medically appropriate history and/or examination and low level of medical decision making. When using time for code selection, 20–29 minutes of total time is spent on the date of the encounter.
$35是office visit copay,这个是取决于你的医疗保险设计，和这个cpt code不直接相关。 一般每次去找你的医生看病，都需要付这个copay.

谢谢！主要是我在Office visit当天就已经付过copay了，所以很奇怪为什么又要再来一次。我去问问insurance！

如果你已经支付过office visit copay了，那么这个就是医生服务的coinsurance，我猜你的医疗保险要求20% coinsurance.
