read the term and conditions carefully. One thing banks do is giving you a 0 APR balance transfer deal on your CC but once your new charge goes onto the card, your payments will pay off the 0 APR first so your new charges ends up with 20+% interest rate. what you have is not a good deal. I had done 0 % no fee for balance transfer checks that can be directly deposit to bank. 100K 18 month term granted it was many years ago.

if that''s what your agreed to the bank then yes don''t use your card for new purchase. Think about it, you owe the bank, why would they let you pay off the higher rate balance first? read the small prints and do your own math
It is not even a deal (i.e. 小便宜). 3% fee up front that's with after-tax money and whatever you do with the bank money aka earnings are before tax so unless you have 0% marginal tax rate one likely will be losing money on the transaction.
