Although we have been told since the beginning of the pandemic that the virus originated from an animal, recent reports have indicated that the so-called conspiracy theory that the virus may have originated from a virology lab in Wuhan may be true. At the beginning of the pandemic, most people dismissed all of the rumours that the virus originated from a virology lab in China as stupid conspiracy theories, similar to theories like the moon landing was fake or that contrails spray mind control chemicals. After all, why would scientists purposely create a virus that could kill hundreds of thousands of people and spread across the entire globe in mere weeks? However, reports have come from the Federal Bureau of Investigations (the FBI) and the US Department of Energy that say that the virus did come from a virology lab in Wuhan. The FBI investigation, written in 2021, says that the FBI, with the help of microbiologists, immunologists and other scientists from the National Bioforensic Analysis Center can confirm with “moderate confidence” that the virus came from a Chinese lab. On the other hand, the Dep. of Energy report, written in early 2023 with the help of the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, shows that the virus came from a lab in China, albeit this time with “low confidence”. However, as the reports are classified, we can not know the exact specifics of how the virus was manufactured and leaked to the public. Despite these roadblocks, there are some ideas brought up by politicians and scientists. The most dominant of these ideas is that the virus was created by the Wuhan Institute of Virology, an institute funded by the American CDC and was accidentally released into the public during a leak. However, other than that specific institute, Wuhan is home to many institutes. Doubt has also been cast on the scientific establishment that created the seafood market theory, with testimony being heard in the US Government that Dr. Fauci, one of the main authorities on the virus, ignored data that contradicted his theory, and furthermore attempted to suppress other studies on the topic, a frightening idea. If Covid truly came from a lab in Wuhan, as these reports are currently suggesting, then this means that people are capable of creating viruses on a worldwide pandemic scale and can release it to the public at will, which is a very scary thought. 但是，很多时候，你最好先做好自己的功课， 对你有利，也不浪费别人的时间
写什么了， 不都是捕风捉影加造谣吗？
楼主提到的国际学校是在国内吗？
哪里有credible的证据？对中国张嘴就来的抹黑在美国还少吗？身为华人还跟着传谣言的是怕自己死的不够快吗？
有些是猥琐恨国大爷，天天躲在女人论坛上找存在感，一有人发帖马上抢个第二排。
所以身为美华就得不辨是非，无论中共做了什么，美华都得在美国替其抗议，辩护？武毒所这个事应该只要稍微看一下已有的证据，就能得出跟FBI同样的结论。不是所有事都会有100%的铁证放出来。否则还要逻辑推理干嘛。
这个当然也生气，而且我自己也知道有很大可能确实是实验室泄漏。这是中国的一方面，我无能为力。 但是这个跟写出来给大家读是两码事。因为报纸新闻的任何报道都要基于事实。 而现实情况是根本没有证据表明这是实验室泄漏，我们不能把我们的猜测皇而堂之地当成事实，而且在这个基础上做假设。这样就是导向民众相信这个假设。 但是假设就是假设，不能当成事实。

我当然看了，但是所有的报纸都基于FBI的某个人的个人观点，而且都是用的Likely，theory, 根本没有实凭实据证明病毒就是实验室泄漏。

如果单纯是是research，我很理解，就是想知道病毒的各个domian都是什么作用，怎么改造可以改变什么性质，很有意思不是么？research不就是探索未知么？没有这种对未知的渴望，何来现代科学？科学家的角度也许只是探索未知，但结果可能是无法承受的，所以基因编辑 baby才会被禁。其实很多东西都是没有属性的，被别有用心的人控制就是负面的，被好人控制就是正面的。 病毒被研究的透彻，才会更好的对抗病毒，本是好事，但没控制好泄露了就是灾难。

lab leak 现在是最有可能的源头，不一定是武毒所。 当然很多人认为 lab leak那个东西怎么去的 lab 才是源头，那这个就说不清楚了
