From ChatGPT: In the context of college, a full ride refers to a scholarship or financial aid package that covers all of the costs associated with attending a particular college or university. This includes tuition, fees, room and board, and sometimes even books and other expenses. Full ride scholarships are highly competitive and are typically awarded to students who have demonstrated exceptional academic or athletic ability, or who have otherwise distinguished themselves through their achievements or community service. In some cases, full ride scholarships may also be awarded based on financial need. Receiving a full ride scholarship can be a significant advantage for students and their families, as it means that they will not have to worry about the financial burden of paying for college. This can help to reduce stress and allow students to focus more fully on their studies and other activities, such as internships or research projects.

Selection bias.
