Grade 9 entry point admits about 45 ppl, total number of students about 180 (25%). The chance of getting in HYPSM is about the same for students entering from K or entering from 9th grade. Save quite a lot of tuition from K-8. But historically some of the best students are home made at Harker.

The percentage of old rich or legacy may be much lower than those elite exclusive schools. The immigrant families are super rich but don't have the legacy status. On the other hand, it's less likely a legacy parent would send the kid to Harker.

当然，到了这个level，收入高，开销也大啊。几个million的房子，几个孩子私校，各种旅游，各种私教课外班，衣食住行处处都是高水准。没有长期稳定的高收入，坐吃山空很快的。当然能省则省。
为什么下一年不继续上的人多了？
